Vanessa trained at Wimbledon School of Art followed by Kingston University and has been working as an illustrator ever since. Her work mainly centres around people and tries to capture the beautiful, ugly and funny aspects of everyday life. "It’s honest and sometimes raw - bushy eyebrows and spots are great!"

Previous clients from around the globe include The BBC, Saatchi and Saatchi, BMP DDB Needham, Rolling Stone, Time Out, Macmillan Books, The Times, The New Yorker and the Royal Mail. She works traditionally with oil paints and occasionally digitally using Painter.
