Vanessa loves to paint people. Their surroundings, pets, jobs and habits are part of the individual which makes a portrait so unique. She thrives on the challenge of painting the ‘real‘ person underneath the mask. Her illustrations have been used across the board from editorial and publishing to advertising and point of sale, giving her a wide experience in the industry.

Vanessa paints on treated paper with oils working mainly from photographic reference in a style that is painterly and naively realistic!
