Vanessa trained at Wimbledon School of Art followed by Kingston University where she received a first class honours degree in Graphic Design; specialising in Illustration. Her work mainly centres around people and  captures the beautiful, ugly and funny aspects of everyday life. "It’s honest and sometimes raw - bushy eyebrows and spots are great!"

She has been commissioned widely for her portraits and paintings from clients around the globe including The BBC, Saatchi and Saatchi, Kiehls, Rolling Stone, Time Out, Macmillan Books, The Times, The New Yorker and the Royal Mail. She works traditionally with oil paints and occasionally digitally using Painter.
